London calling

The wanderlust lady that I am always wanted to go to London. The people, the monuments, the atmophere, it was all calling me. You’re thinking about going there ? Let me paint you a little picture! London is always moving, people everywhere, the ones wearing a fancy suit and a briefcase, those with green or blue hair wearing tiny skirts while you’re freaking freezing to death. Every street is like a new discovery with its red brick houses, its lovely parks and these famous cabs and red buses you can see at every corner. How can you not fall in love with this city you admire on tv and always wanted to discover ?

One day in London

If you’re only in town for one day and you want to sample the best the city has to offer, here’s an little itinerary for you. Start the day with a big cup of coffee from Starbucks and maybe a little muffin, it never hurts… Then, you can begin your tour with Westminster Abbey where most of England’s kings and queens have been crowned. Big Ben should absolutely be on your to do list, take some snaps of the Houses of Parliaments and cross over Westminster Bridge to admire the wheel, the London Eye. Then, you can make a stop at Covent Garden. There are three markets located in Covent Garden’s 19th century Piazza, each offering a wide range of craft, gifts and so muche more. You can eat on the go before heading to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London. It’s time now to cross the Tower Bridge, one of London’s best-loved landmarks. End your journey by climbing up the Shard where you’ll have a breathtaking view of the city.

If you’re a fashion lover, you can’t go to London without doing some shopping. Oxford street is the place to be as well as Harrods. If you want a break from the city, opt for a nice picnic in Hyde Park. Last piece of advice, London is amazing and there are a lot to see, it’s better to stay at least three days. But…let me tell you, at the end of your trip, you’ll be counting down the days until you come back !Exif_JPEG_PICTURE
